The 6.7L Powerstroke Design Flaw: Oil in the Intake Tract
If you own a 2011-2020 Ford F-250 or F-350 with the 6.7L Powerstroke, you already know about the factory CCV (Crankcase Ventilation) nightmare. Ford designed the system to route crankcase blow-by gases straight back into the intake tube just before the turbocharger.
While this passes emissions standards, it destroys performance. The heavy oil mist coats the turbo compressor wheel, reducing its aerodynamic efficiency. That oil is then pushed through the hot-side intercooler pipe, where it pools inside the intercooler. Eventually, the oil degrades the rubber intercooler boots, causing them to slip and blow off under heavy load or high boost. Furthermore, when the factory CCV filter inevitably clogs, it spikes crankcase pressure, which will force oil out of the rear main seal or upper oil pan gasket.
The TF-1067 CCV Reroute Solution
This complete bolt-on kit allows you to bypass the factory CCV box and route the crankcase pressure down to the atmosphere (or into an aftermarket catch can).
-
Eliminate the Restrictive Filter: By removing the factory paper CCV filter, your crankcase can breathe freely, drastically reducing internal engine pressure and saving your gaskets.
-
Heavy-Duty Plumbing: Unlike cheap kits that use kink-prone heater hose, the TF-1067 includes 6 feet of reinforced, oil-resistant 3/4-inch rubber hose designed to withstand harsh under-hood temperatures.
-
Leak-Free Billet Aluminum: The block-off plates and the internal baffle are CNC-machined from solid aluminum—no cheap plastic components that warp or crack under thermal cycling. The massive 12AN 90-degree fitting ensures high-flow venting without bottlenecking pressure.

Great aftermarket option for repairing the flawed Ford CCV system. The TF-1067 dropped right onto my 2011 F250. The included 3/4 inch hose is very thick and doesn’t collapse under vacuum. The turbo compressor wheel is bone dry now. A very reliable repair solution.
Marcus Gallagher –
My 2017 F350 kept blowing the cold side intercooler boot off while towing my fifth wheel up steep grades. A diesel mechanic told me the factory crankcase ventilation system was pushing oil into the boots, causing them to slip under high boost. I installed the TF-1067 reroute kit and cleaned my pipes. It has been 5,000 miles and the boots haven’t slipped once. The CNC machined fittings are top-notch quality.
Audrey Flynn –
My 2018 F350 was getting terrible mileage and I suspected the clogged factory CCV filter was causing excess drag on the engine internally. I installed this bypass kit and the truck feels much lighter on its feet. The crankcase pressure is completely relieved. Very satisfied with this purchase.
Zachary Brewer –
