Breathe New Life Into Your Angle Grinder
Is your grinder making a terrible grinding noise, spitting excessive sparks from the vents, or simply refusing to turn on? When a power tool suffers severe thermal overload (often from pushing too hard on thick metal or masonry), the entire motor assembly takes the hit. Replacing just one component usually leads to another failure down the road.
That’s why the FixPartHub Premium Aftermarket Motor Rebuild Kit is the smartest choice for professionals and DIYers alike. We’ve bundled the four most critical internal components so you can perform a complete, drop-in heart transplant for your tool.
What’s Included in This Kit?
| 1x Armature (Rotor) | Replaces Part No. 513633-7. Features balanced commutator bars for smooth rotation. |
| 1x Stator (Field) | Replaces Part No. 625758-6. Provides the strong magnetic field needed for high torque. |
| 1 Pair Carbon Brushes | Replaces Part No. 194160-9 (CB-325). High-density graphite for optimal electrical transfer. |
| 1x Ball Bearing | Replaces Part No. 211332-2. Secures the armature shaft for vibration-free operation. |
🛠️ Tech Q&A: Diagnosis & Installation
Q: How do I know if I need the full kit instead of just carbon brushes?
A: If your tool stopped suddenly, check the brushes first. However, if you experienced a strong burning plastic smell, saw heavy smoke, or if the copper bars on your old armature are deeply grooved, melted, or blackened, both the armature and stator have likely sustained heat damage. Installing new brushes on a melted armature will instantly destroy the new brushes.
Q: Do I need special tools to install this?
A: A standard Phillips screwdriver is needed to open the housing. You may also need a basic bearing puller if your old bearing is stuck in the gearbox, though the new 211332-2 bearing easily presses onto the new armature shaft.
⚠️ Crucial Installation Warning:
Always unplug your tool before opening the casing. When inserting the new armature into the stator, ensure the carbon brushes are retracted or removed so they do not snap against the commutator bars during insertion. Make sure the baffle plate is correctly aligned before closing the clamshell housing to ensure proper cooling airflow.

Yes. This premium aftermarket rebuild kit is specifically designed to be fully compatible with the 9553NB, 9554NB, and 9555NB angle grinder models, acting as a direct drop-in replacement for the original motor assembly.
When an angle grinder overloads and burns out, the excessive heat usually damages the protective resin on both the armature (rotor) and the stator (field). Replacing only one part often leads to poor performance or immediate failure of the new component.
The kit includes everything needed for a motor overhaul: 1x Armature (compatible with 513633-7), 1x Stator (compatible with 625758-6), 1x pair of CB-325 Carbon Brushes (compatible with 194160-9), and 1x Ball Bearing (compatible with 211332-2).
